To support our Legal Department, we are currently looking for a dedicated part-time employee with a focus on legal research, enabling accurate analysis and reliable decision-making across all areas of the business. You will contribute to making processes more efficient and ensuring the regulatory compliance within our company.

Your Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive legal research in German and EU law, and, where relevant, international law
Analyzing and summarizing legal developments, case law, and regulatory requirements in a clear and structured manner
Preparing legal memoranda and assessments for internal stakeholders
Assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and updating of internal policies, guidelines, and templates
Contributing to ongoing compliance projects, including the implementation of new regulatory requirements (e.g. consumer protection, e-commerce, or data protection)
Monitoring legislative developments and supporting the legal team in ensuring timely adaptation to regulatory changes
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Customer Support) on regulatory topics
Supporting the handling of individual legal inquiries and cases under supervision

Your profile

Ongoing or completed studies in law or a comparable field (e.g. LL.B., LL.M., First or Second State Examination)
Ability to summarise complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner
Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct structured and thorough legal research
Interest in business-oriented legal work
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a plus: e-commerce, data protection law, IT law, IP law, employment law, tax law
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Presence in Berlin is required!
